        Popular Agricultural Science for Young Visitors

               This display is a themed display of CAM, with an area of 650 square meters, the exhibits being mainly animal and plant samples, models, audio-visual materials, and interactive games. The display is divided into three sections: Agriculture and Production; Agriculture and Life; and Agriculture and Environment. The exhibition offers young visitors an interactional place for understanding and experiencing agriculture.

               In the part of “Agriculture and Production,” people find it easy to understand the crop distributions and the characteristics of the crops in China, through interactive games. Young visitors can participate in farming activities and experience farmers’ hard toils; and they can observe the dynamic process of chicken hatching, and observe the birth of new lives.

               In “Agriculture and Life,” people can understand and observe the influence of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium to the growth of crops through interactive games; they can get to understand the source of the food and identify the qualities of commonly-found crops, their pests and natural enemies.

               The interactive program in the “Agriculture and Environment” part intends to promote, through personal participation, balanced diets and healthy lifestyles, in order to effectively reduce the human pollution to the environment. The hi-tech display also introduces outer-space breeding and cloning as applied in agriculture, inspiring the imaginations and expectations in visitors for future developments of agriculture.

               The “Popular Agricultural Science for Young Visitors” exhibition combines science, knowledge, entertainment, and interaction to help young visitors appreciate agricultural science while enjoying games, cultivating a love for science and agriculture in them, and inspiring their awareness of technological innovation.
