The academic construction has been greatly enhanced with the completion of museum’s reconstruction and extension projects in recent years. There are more than 50 senior experts and researchers on history, antiques, agriculture and economics, leading projects launched by CAM and other institutes. It publishes the academic quarterly journal - Ancient and Modern Agriculture. CAM has maintained close relations with many museums, universities and institutes home and abroad, and is also a member of the International Council of Museums (ICOM).
Certified by the General Administration of Press and Publication of the People’s Republic of China, Ancient and Modern Agriculture (CN:11-4997/S; Q1951), as an academic quarterly, was started in 1987, and it first officially started publication in December 2002. The journal is issued by Beijng Distribution Bureau of Newspapers and Magazines, its mailing code being 80-129.
